Basic Job Functions:



The Construction Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the Nucor Construction and Division capital project teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


• Planning, directing, and coordinating electrical installation activities for the construction group
• Assisting with developing electrical system designs and requests for proposals
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal & external vendors/contracting partners
• Contributing to Nucor Enterprise-wide power and general electrical installations
• Working with construction engineering firms and installation contractors to design the safest, most cost-effective systems and installation procedures
• Work with OEM's, Utility Companies, Electrical Testing/Maintenance Companies and contracting partners to stay current with the latest technologies and


solutions.


Must be willing to work before and after regularly scheduled work hours as business conditions warrant.

Minimum Qualifications:



• BSEE or equivalent Engineering Degree




Preferred Qualifications:



• Leadership/Supervisory Experience
• Large Construction/Capital project experience
