Victory Prep Academy Middle/High School is hiring a varsity women’s coach, to coach all three girls’ volleyball, girls’ basketball, and girls’ soccer, for a small 1A athletic program. Our coach will serve as TOSA or in house substitute instructors and instructional support 3-4 hours per day prior to coaching duties.

Base Salary: $52500.00 - 55500.00                         Workdays:   191 Days 

Key Responsibilities:

A:   Assumes responsibility for the entire program including:  

1.  coaches the varsity squad,  


2.  supervises assistant coaches,  


3.  determines athlete participation during practices and games, including squad level and playing time, in conjunction with assistant coach if possible.  


4.  positively promotes the athletic program within the schools and the community,  


5.  Helps develop middle school intramural sports and coaches and programs feeding into high schools,  


6.  Oversees and applies athletic department polices.  

B.   Assists in the selection and evaluation of assistant coaches. 

C.  Works with the Athletic and Activities Director, Operations Manager, and lead facility administrator in: 

1.  formulation of game schedules  


2.  selection of contest officials  


3.  arrangements for out-of-town trips  


4.  arrangements for physical examinations  


5.  preparation of athletic permission slips and eligibility lists  


6.  preparation of budgets, equipment and supply requisitions  


7.  solicitation of athletic insurance  


8.  scouting arrangements  


9.  planning of new facilities and/or modification of existing facilities  


10.  organization of middle school clinics as directed by HOS, Athletic Director and assist middle school coaches in their related programs 

D.   Supervises dressing rooms and playing area during and following periods of team participation  

E.   Remains with students and supervises when traveling to away games.  

F.   Cares for athletes and injured athletes.  

G.  Cares for and maintains equipment and annual inventories.

H.   Prepares award lists and collects athletic fees.  

I.    Attends all conference meetings or any other meeting where the program is involved. Operates within the policies of the 5280 League and CHSSA . 

J.  Works closely with custodians in control at facilities.  

K.  Keeps informed on current trends in designated sport and participates in respective clinics.  

L.  Maintains active membership in related professional organization.  

M.  Prepares rosters when teams are taken out of school to participate in athletic contest.  

N.  Maintains a staff relationship with other coaches.  

O.  Performs other duties as assigned by the HOS or Athletic Director.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in education, sports, or related field 




• Minimum of two years of experience in program management, preferably in an educational setting 




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 




• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities 

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
