What You Will Do
Lead a team of electrical professionals including service technicians, field service engineers, project manager estimators, foremen, and apprentices to achieve growth goals in sales, efficiency, productivity, customer retention, and profitabilityCommunicate, build relationships, and develop additional business opportunities with clientsCoordinate with Construction and Estimating to plan, schedule, and make purchases to ensure delivery of quality work and serviceEstablish goals, provide training, coaching, and development, and manage performance of your team to ensure success against team objectivesProvide daily, weekly and/or monthly reporting as neededCreate and prepare marketing materials needed for RFPs, RFQs and Company PacketsRecruit, interview, hire and train technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirementsProject manage small projects like budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts change orders and close out documentsDemonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships
What You Will Bring
In addition to holding yourself to the highest standards and not accepting second best, you will
Be able to lead at a high level with a large staff Have a minimum of 5 years of service management/ project management experience in the electrical industry Possess the ability to work with a team and lead field technicians and office staff Demonstrate skill at performance management, negotiation, leadership, problem solving and motivation Have knowledge of financial reporting and expense control for a service department Be competent with a wide variety of computer software Have strong written and oral communication skills Possess strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Have the ability to think practically in order to solve office and job-site problems and interface effectively with direct project personnel and senior project personnel
