This is a first shift role. Typical hours are 5am-1:30pm.

Heres your opportunity:
You will be responsible forrepairing, maintaining and modifying molds as needed. You will assist in the construction of tooling including preparation of the pattern, application of tooling gelcoat and laminate, and construction of the mold structure while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Self-directed in all mold modificationsDesigns and construct basic and complex patternsProficient in all laminating and mold making techniquesAssists in mold design and blueprintsKnowledgeable in gelcoats and applicationAdvanced knowledge of resin chemistry / formulaeTrains department employeesProficient at required equipment setupsEnsures production schedules are met within cellComputer proficient in applicable programsSustains production goalsProficient use of department equipment and measuring toolsMeets quality expectationsAbility to read and access blueprintsIdentifies mold damage and repair parametersCompletes proper documentation of work performedSelf-directed in all mold preventative maintenance (PM) & repairKnowledgeable in mold release application
Heres why we want you:
High School diploma or GED requiredCourses in Industrial Arts preferredFour (4) years of general shop experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Advanced skill and knowledge of mold making practices and techniques.
