As a Sr. Documentation Specialist / Manager, they will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of all product quality-related documentation, processes, and procedures. This includes technical customer onboarding, new product setup, and setting product quality standards, including raw material (RM) testing and test methodologies. The role encompasses managing processes and activities to support product formulation, development, and commercialization, as well as customer quotations, technical sales/customer support, and product commercialization activities. The Sr. Documentation Specialist / Manager collaborates with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Technical Operations, Procurement, and Quality to achieve all business objectives.

• Drive and manage the technical customer onboarding process, ensuring alignment of customer’s product quality parameters and expectations with company equipment/process capabilities; manage NIF/RIF process.


• Establish new raw material, bulk, and finished product specifications and testing standards/protocols in line with GMP regulations and customer expectations/requirements.


• Establish clear roles and responsibilities with various departments (R&D/Formulation, Sales, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely new product setup; create SOPs/JDs, provide ongoing training, etc.


• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, offer training, solutions, etc.


• Support quality test reduction initiatives and other initiatives related to streamlining manufacturing processes and testing procedures, ensuring cross-functional alignment and support.


• Lead the preparation for the new ERP transition, driving the cleanup of legacy raw material and finished products, ensuring cross-functional alignment and support.


• Create effective backup plans and cross-train department personnel.


• Follow established department SOPs, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.


• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.


• Maintain a safe work environment and operate in a safe manner.


• Perform other related job duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical/Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college/university.


• 7 or more years of work experience in nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or related industries.

Work Environment:

This position is currently classified as on-site.

Base Salary Range: $101,000 -$124,000 per year, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
