Position: Staff Technical Program Manager

Duties: Proactively communicate progress and risks and engage with core teams to resolve issues while updating broader teams and stakeholders on progress on deliverables, features, and milestones to program success metrics. Participate in end-to-end discussions for managing high-level business, functional and technical requirements, system functional and technical design of systems and demonstrate an understanding of design choices for scalability, high availability, performance and reduced cost. Participate in end-to-end discussions for high-level system, functional and technical design of simple/medium-complexity systems and demonstrate an understanding of design choices for scalability, high availability, and performance. Proactively identify system limitations, scaling factors, and boundary conditions and rationalizes overall system and business architectural design decisions. Define goals, deliverables, schedules, and critical paths for managing multiple medium- to high-complexity programs within an assigned area of work, in alignment with overall strategic objectives and shifting priorities, by applying agile implementation methodologies. Independently monitor, track progress of multiple projects in a program, report milestone deliverables; against approved quality metrics, and manage timely project delivery. Independently engage and communicate with the identified program stakeholders based on defined cadence to align and share regular updates. Create development plan and schedule, identify risks, assign and drive action items, track resources, and keep the project on time thus reducing cost. This position does not supervise any employees.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 5 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.



Skills required: Experience with requirements for software, hardware assets or platform capabilities. Experience with functional/business requirements detailing end user expectations of the product functionality and technical requirements detailing how functional/business requirements can be achieved and final product functionality. Experience with projects using iterative agile methodology for cyclic and collaborative process or sequential waterfall methodology for sequential or linear process. Experience with software development project ensuring on time delivery and budget expectations while meeting user expectations. Experience with project tracking to monitor a project's progress against the original project plan. Experience with project milestone reporting to track achievements and what else needs to be done to complete project successfully and on time. Experience with deliverables including significant events, deliverables or interdependencies that need to be monitored to keep the project on track. Experience with stakeholder communication and communicating with the people who have an interest or influence on the project or decision, helping with expectations, address concerns, and ensure their support and alignment. Experience with functional design focusing on designing user experience as per business needs and technical design including how that functionality is to be implemented technically. Experience with cost-reducing innovations, advancements or developments that significantly lower the cost of producing a product or providing a service. Experience with business architecture consisting of distinct but interrelated platforms creating a multidimensional modular system. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $174,518/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
