Mercer's Wealth Global Business is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Boston office:



Business Management Associate




What can you expect?



  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the COO, providing expert guidance and support in decision-making processes and operational strategies


  • Collaborate closely with the COO to develop and execute the organization's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives


  • Prepare and coordinate high-level materials for executive meetings, including board presentations, strategic plans, and performance reports


  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making


  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication, working closely with department heads to ensure effective implementation of operational plans


  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and performance reports to the COO and executive team


  • Identify operational inefficiencies and areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions to optimize business processes and enhance productivity


  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the organization


  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, promoting effective communication, teamwork, and professional development within the organization

What you need to have:



  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Management, with progressive increase in responsibilities


  • Prior investment experience with Defined Contribution Plans, Pensions & Not-For-Profit organizations is a plus


  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business or related field of study preferred


  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, clear and effective communication, both written and oral; ability to multi-task


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel


  • General experience with client relationship management systems, databases and MS Smart Sheets is advantageous

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and achieving results
