This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for:




  • You will assist and answer inquiries within business hours and within SLAs.

  • You communicate clearly and effectively.

  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues directly with internal customers.

  • You will grant authorization to systems using SQL or other system interfaces.

  • You will design, document, and organize similar tickets as a knowledge base for future related inquires.

  • You will assist with monitoring and operational support of systems.

  • You will escalate tickets and work with the 2nd level team(s) if necessary.



This position may suit you best if you're familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills with Siemens Healthineers:




  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

  • You have excellent digital organizational skills.

  • You have some SQL knowledge and want to learn more.

  • You are a naturally curious person and self-learner.

  • You are excited about emerging data technology.

  • You can troubleshoot and apply critical problem solving effectively.

  • You have experience with front facing customer support.



Required skills to have for the success of this role:




  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

  • Some SQL Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products (Word, Outlook, etc.)



Start date: Fall 2024
