Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Preparation of various metals following blueprints to supply the fabrication/welding department utilizing tools and equipment to include but not limited to bandsaws, plate shear, ironworker, belt sander, hand tools.



  • Must have experience operating a metal/plate shear, and press brake. 

Position Requirements: 


  • High School Diploma 

  • Accurately read a tape measure.  

  • Basic Math Skills

  • Identify fraction and decimal equivalents. 

  • Basic blueprint reading.  

  • Basic mechanical knowledge. 

  • Willingness to learn.  

  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions. 

  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. 

  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea. 

  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills. 

Wage Ranges:  Level 1: $18-$20; Level 2: $20-$23; Level 3: $23-$25 hourly
