The division of Finance and Administration is seeking highly dynamic human resources professional to serve as the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources. Ideal candidate will lead the institution's efforts in human resources and elevate workplace excellence, integrity, respect, and innovation.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration (CFO/EVP for FINAM) the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources provides leadership, strategic planning and direction, and oversight for all human resources and civil rights functions, including day-to-day oversight for organizational development and institutional human resources policies and strategies. Coordinates and implements projects assigned by the CFO/EVP for FINAM in support of division and University initiatives. Serves as a member of the Executive Vice President's senior management team and serves on other committees as appropriate. Manages the annual human resources budget and supervises the human resources staff members. It is simultaneously a hands-on and managerial role, with expectations for leading a team of HR professionals and working across all academic and administrative divisions.

Work location is Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate which may include after-hours and weekends.

Applicants must have a master's degree in human resource management or applicable field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Additionally, a minimum of five years of related experience in human resources and/or payroll experience including at least four years related supervisory experience is required.
