Job Responsibilities

The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences is seeking to fill on-campus Sociology adjunct instructor positions to begin Fall 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge with others, consider joining TTC.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, teaching day and evening classes, utilizing technology, using various teaching methods in instruction, and maintaining accurate attendance and grading records.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master's degree in sociology or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours of sociology. Graduate hours in social work are not substituted for sociology. Qualified candidates who have applied previously are encouraged to re-apply for consideration. Adjunct faculty positions require the submission of unofficial transcripts with the application.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills are essential. Prior teaching experience is highly preferred.
