Join our team as: Grants Manager
What You Will Do
Under general direction, plans, organizes, and manages portfolio of regional donors; researches, identifies, and solicits individual, foundation, and corporate support; coordinates and implements community outreach strategies and activities and Fred Finch Youth and Family Services and Fred Finch Youth and Family Services CARES (hereinafter FF) events, volunteer program, and related special projects; conducts community outreach; maintains accurate records and databases; and performs related duties as assigned.
The Grants Manager is a member of the Development Team and is a liaison between the agency and its investors. The Grants Manager is responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals/reports that support FF goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. This position serves as the primary grant writer, manages funder relationships, engages in compliance reporting, and supports special project initiatives. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement.
Shifts Available
Full Time - Typical schedule Mon-Fri/8am-5pm
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $43.99 and $71.66. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):

B.A. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in nonprofit development, community outreach, volunteer management or similar field.
Database management experience; managing donor database (Raiser's Edge).
Demonstrated computer proficiency and, Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule required for evening/weekend events.
Enjoys working in fast-paced environment with passionate and committed people.
Demonstrated analytic skills with a proven commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
Excellent organizational, task-management, leadership, verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate goals and objectives clearly.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively commitment to collaboration and teamwork, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve work performance.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Self-starter, with entrepreneurial and creative skills, and the ability to recognize opportunities.
Clean driving record and current CA Driver's License required, or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire.

Preferred

Nonprofit and/or mental health sector experience and a desire to pursue career in development or non-profit
Experience supervising volunteers.
Spanish bilingual.
