Satisfy customer requests for aftermarket technical support to include crane system diagnostics and troubleshooting, crane rigging, and repair recommendations. Periodic after-hours cell phone coverage and travel to dealer locations (up to 10-15%) in support of service activities are essential functions of this job.  This position reports to the Sr. Mgr Technical Service located in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain high level of available phone coverage


• Adherence to Manitowoc Crane Care service policies


• Assist CSR IV with parts research


• Meet training and educational goals in order to maintain strong working knowledge of crane systems


• Support of after-hours phone calls

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience required. Hydraulic/Electro-mechanical systems and customer service.      Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and computer systems, with a background in customer service, or a high school diploma with a minimum of eight years of experience with heavy equipment mechanical/hydraulic repair and maintenance, electronic control system experience. Crane experience a plus


• Normal office environment with occasional overnight domestic and/or international travel may be required.


• Must be able to travel up to 10 - 15% of time


• Must be able to address and respond to complex technical questions via telephone, website, and/or Email


• Must be familiar with Metric measuring systems


• Speak/Read/Write German language a plus

SALARY:

Minimum: $60,058.96

Midpoint: $76,575.20

Maximum: $93,092.48
