RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a Senior UX Researcher for a remote, contract opportunity.

Summary:
The UX Researcher will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of the client's artificial intelligence-enabled assistant and digital products. They will be responsible for conducting user research, gathering insights, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the overall user experience. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, they will help create intuitive and seamless experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct user research: Plan, design, and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences

  • Gather insights: Analyze research findings and distill key insights to inform product decisions and improvements

  • Provide actionable recommendations: Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product teams, including design recommendations, feature enhancements, and user interface optimizations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to align research findings with product goals and roadmap

  • Drive user-centered design: Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies, ensuring that the user perspective is at the forefront of product development

  • Stay up to date with industry trends: Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in UX research, AI, and related fields, and apply them to improve our products

  • Foster a culture of research: Include product trio in research efforts in order to develop customer empathy and shared insights







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting UX research, preferably in a technology or AI-focused environment

  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics

  • Proficiency in using research tools and software, such as user testing platforms, survey tools, and analytics platforms

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple research projects simultaneously

  • Passion for user-centered design and a genuine curiosity for understanding user behaviors and needs

  • Experience with AI and conversational interfaces is a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
