RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Kforce client, a well-established non-profit healthcare provider located in Newton, MA, seeks a Senior Accountant to join their team. This client offers growth potential, free parking, and strong compensation benefits. This position begins on a hybrid schedule while training. Remote options will be available post-training.

Responsibilities:

• As Senior Accountant you will oversee the financial activities of the company by managing financial records, preparing tax statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations


• Monitor financial financial transactions


• Provide financial guidance to leadership


• Conduct internal audits


• Supervise and train junior accounting staff


• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Accounting or related field or working experience


• MBA, CPA, or knowledge of advanced business concepts preferred


• Healthcare working experience


• Knowledge of Accounting principles regulations and practices


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work under pressure


• Leadership, Training and Management abilities


• Software and Applications: MS Excel, other accounting software

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
