Job Summary & Job Duties


Developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.


• Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase efficiency.


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.


• Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends, and continuously proposing solutions for process improvement.


• Performing process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.


• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.


• Communicate with the internal team and customers regarding the Process.


• Manage and train quality inspectors and operations.


• Work with production to lead process improvement efforts.


• Engage with customer communication in quality-related matters.


• Facilitating and holding ISO- internal and external audits.


• Responsible for maintaining Calibration records, production SOPs, Travelers, and PORs.


• Review work instructions and provide training based on Quality alerts coordinated by the engineering team from time to time.


• Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.


• Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.


• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.


• Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.


• Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).


• Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.


• Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.


• Accountable for the site and VI team communication as the "single point of contact."


• Coordinating the VI quoting process for the facility (provide or facilitate quotes).


• Accountable for the movement and completion of VI development parts through the facility.


Minimum Qualifications


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BS in Chemical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.


**ASQ certification preferred.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Excellent project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


Prefer at least four years of related work experience.
