Baer is looking for SAP Basis Lead for a 6+ month project located in Atlanta, GA.
Title: SAP Basis Lead Location: Hybrid - Onsite in Atlanta, GA 2 Days Per Week Duration: 6 months Rate: All-inclusive Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
Administer and operate the SAP HANA systems and related components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with SAP Project leads and technical team members on the design and build of the SAP ecosystem and infrastructure.
Provide advanced technical support for resolving complex system issues and serve as a point of escalation for operational problems.
Automate administrative and operational functions to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Provide training and guidance to operational teams to improve their understanding and management of SAP systems.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of SAP system components and architecture to recommend and implement improvements.
Resolve incidents that affect the operation and availability of global systems through effective troubleshooting and known solution implementations.
Work closely with third-party providers to troubleshoot and resolve application and system errors.
Collaborate with system analysts, architects, and owners in the testing of new SAP software programs and applications.
Regularly install and configure patches, support pack upgrades, and other system updates to ensure security and functionality.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in SAP Basis, with a minimum of 2 years focused on SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and deployment of SAP applications.
Proficient in managing SAP upgrades, including Support Packs and Enhancement Packs.
Expertise in SAP performance tuning and system optimization.
Technical fluency in SQL, with the ability to manage database aspects of SAP systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience in SAP.
