We are a customer-focused team dedicated to helping Sellers and suppliers grow on Walmart Marketplace by providing goods to our customers at the best possible prices. We work within our given books of businesses to cultivate a dedicated cohort of invested sellers through intermittent meetings, relationship building, and strategic plans.



What you'll do...



The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer services. As a Senior Manager in Entertainment, Toys & Seasonal, you will be responsible for driving strategy and delivering growth in priority categories. You'll partner with executive leadership across the organization to deliver on the strategy, while managing Strategic Account Managers and working with them to build their accounts through planning, forecasting, negotiating, performance and category analysis, inventory insights, exclusive deals, events, and new product launches. You will also help lead Strategic Account Managers to strengthen and build their strategic seller relationships. You'll make an impact by:



  • Account Management - Manage a book of business of high-value, strategic and SMB accounts across key categories. Drive and exceed Seller revenue growth goals through the implementation of Seller Programs and an assortment strategy. Create & deliver compelling value propositions through a consultative selling approach, clear communication, and utilize data to drive actionable insights.

  • Building Relationships with Key Decision Makers - Develop relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within senior leadership of prospective brands/sellers, along with internal stakeholders to develop business plans that exceed expectations. Understand Sellers' goals, decision-making processes, and success metrics.

  • Business performance: Lead annual and quarterly business planning and performance tracking for the category, as well as sellers managed by direct reports. Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting category business performance and implement corrective actions. Drive performance against P&L levers including gross merchandise value (GMV) and contribution profit. Guide direct reports on delivering growth for managed sellers - optimizing offer quality to maximize search optimization and discoverability across the platform, driving adoption of seller services, and developing strategic marketing plans that drive incremental traffic and GMV. Lean in as needed with sellers directly.

  • Trusted Advisor: Develop strong and trusting relationships with partners working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement growth initiatives. Employ a "one team" approach to accomplish the goals of the business and drive negotiations from a "win-win" perspective that establishes credibility and trust with our partners and delivers consistently improved performance.

  • Working cross-functionally: Collaborate with Omni Merchant team, Product Management, Finance, Strategy, Operations, Site and Marketing to deliver best-in-class customer and seller experiences.

  • Building a team: Managing a team of Strategic Account Manager(s), developing their skills and acting as a mentor.

  • Being Seller Obsessed - Listen to seller feedback, challenges, and needs. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, site operations, partner support, etc.) to continuously improve the platform and experience.

  • Advocating For the Platform - Champion and evangelize our platform, and its evolving capabilities, to prospective sellers. Drive awareness and adoption of new seller services. Attend trade shows and external events to generate new partner opportunities.

  • Thinking Creatively - Explore and innovate! Develop and test new partnerships or services that create shared value for sellers, customers, and Walmart.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • 7+ years' experience in Business Management, Omni-Channel Category Merchandising, Account Management, digital commerce or a related area. E-Commerce experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and influential skills.

  • Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
