Job Description:

Golf Course Superintendent

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Offer will be commensurate with experience)

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the maintenance operations of the two City of Ann Arbor golf courses, while implementing best practices in regards to environmental stewardship, with customer service as a priority.

Education, Training and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent


• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in turf grass management or a closely related field


• At least three (3) years relevant and recent experience in golf course maintenance


• 2 years management experience at a golf facility


• Michigan Pesticide Applicator License (Category 3A — Turf)


• Valid MI driver’s license

Education, Training and Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in turf grass management or related field
