The Role: Receiving Supervisor Reports to: Operations Manager Location: Deckers Brands Distribution Center inMooresville, Indiana (near clayton)
The Role
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming shipments by performing the following duties. Coordinates with trucking companies and truck drivers to ensure containers are received at scheduled times.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Oversees incoming shipping activities to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Trains and advises employees on care and preservation of goods, specifically how to store, pick, pack, and ship; methods and use of equipment in handling storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness & conformance to receiving policies and procedures. Issues oral and written instructions.
Reports receiving discrepancies (quantity or quality) to the Director.

2-3 years warehouse experience.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of management
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Good math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to accurately count physical goods
