The Business Architecture Product Lead will be the head of the Product team for the Global Business Architecture function at Everest. This group will have accountability to drive Product Architecture and deliver Insurance Product specifications for implementation in Policy Administration systems.


The Product Lead will work across the Insurance business organization, including Product Management, Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations, Compliance, Distribution, and Marketing to understand and drive requirements for Insurance products. This role will closely collaborate with the IT teams implementing policy administration and supporting systems, such as an Underwriting Workbench, Enterprise Workflow, and Agent Portal, ensuring that our technology solutions meet business needs now and in the future.


The Product Lead will be accountable to develop the processes and a standard set of artifacts used in the development of new products, and in ongoing maintenance of products in the policy systems.


Finally, this position will lead a team of Product Business Solution Analysts that deliver product specifications, including coverages and coverage terms, forms, availability, and rating and pricing, to the technical team implementing a product in the Policy System.



Knowledge and Skills



  • At least 15 years' experience working with complex P&C commercial lines products (GL, Property, Excess Casualty, Auto, Work Comp, etc.), with a deep understanding of ISO, NCCI, state regulatory environments, rating and pricing, and insurance company processes around product.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate product business requirements into a detailed product architecture and specifications.

  • Demonstrated experience in technology and large technology implementation efforts.

  • Strong ability to lead through influence.

  • Demonstrated experience leading in large multi-disciplinary team environments.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with commercial Policy Administration Systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Policy Decisions)

  • Leadership and management of a Product Business Solution Analysis team.
