The VP of HR will establish and build strong relationships with all levels of the organization. She / He will provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization and will be responsible for the management of the company's human resources department. The VP of HR will consult with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic staffing plans, employee relations, compensation plans, training and development, budget, benefits and payroll administration, and labor relations. In addition, the VP of HR will be responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Vice President of Human Resources reports directly to the COO and will have five direct reports. This role will also interact with the global executive team based in Italy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management
Identify key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics
Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs
Continually strive to improve all HR processes and programs, and identify and implement new ones, including career development, employee benefits, and other processes
Investigate, monitor, and resolve complex employee situations from origin to conclusion while minimizing organizational risk
Coach management on communicating priorities and goals/messages delivered to associates to increase engagement and productivity
Ensure compliance with corporate human resource policy
Implement company culture, values, and policies
Drive reward and recognition programs
Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Experience in a consumer-facing industry and multi-cultural awareness
Will have financial acumen and be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Will have demonstrated success leading HR initiatives at all levels of an organization
Must go above and beyond to get the job done. A self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Will have the ability to be a true business partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and the entire executive team and board
In-depth knowledge of local and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations
Experience with HR tools and recruiting software
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master's highly preferred
At least 10+ years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred
