Lauderdale BMW Collision Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Paint
Technician to join the Holman family.



What will you do?



Our Paint
Technician is responsible for paint and restoration, both minor and major, to vehicles within the collision center.



The Paint Tech is also responsible for:



  • Manage paint body, frame and or mechanical repair of vehicle


  • Review paint damage reports, prepare or review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed


  • Remove damaged panels, and identify the family and properties of the paint needed on a vehicle


  • Inspect repaired vehicles for proper functioning, completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job, and test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and handling


  • Position dolly blocks against surfaces of dented areas and beat opposite surfaces to remove dents, using hammers


  • Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches and welding equipment, and grind down welds to smooth them, using power grinders and other tools.


  • Requires maximal physical demands involving bending, lifting, reaching and pushing/pulling





What are we looking for?




  • 1+ years of related auto body paint experience



  • Prior body Paint experience strongly desired


  • High School Diploma


  • Driver's License


  • Willingness to undergo our background requirements

Pay:



We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $20.45 - $29.66 USD per hour.
