Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects for new mechatronic product developments in our Industrial plants in the Americas region
Planning and execution of one or more projects with internal and external customers
Defining and tracking project goals and content and developing solution concepts based on customer requirements in collaboration with experts
Ensure the realization of assigned projects, including all relevant steps, milestones, gateways and resources
Monitoring the progress of the project in terms of time, costs, quality (TCQ) and initiating appropriate measures in the event of deviations or complaints
Managing and coordinating the knowledge gained, including ensuring proper documentation and project review
Functional management of the members of the project team and coordination of all external service providers, resources or stakeholders involved
Your Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related discipline
Proven experience in planning and executing projects, preferably in a customer-facing role
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
Proficiency in defining and tracking project goals, content, and milestones to ensure successful project completion
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including experts and customers
Ability to manage project resources efficiently, including budgeting and resource allocation
Experience in monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions to address deviations or complaints
Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and motivate project teams and external service providers
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
Master's degree in project management, business administration, engineering or a related field
Certification in project management such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
Ability to understand and can communicate in German
