Volt is immediately hiring for a Repair Technician in Houston, TX.
As a Repair Technician you will:
Drive equipment
Create parts list and service work orders
Utilize computer and tablet skills to order parts, review service work instructions, send emails
Complete diagnostics using service tool on units needing repairs
Remove and install failed components using general mechanics tools and required special tools
Adhere to all work instructions and housekeeping procedures
Work indoors and outdoors when required
Report safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
Perform other duties and/or complete training as required by Supervisor
This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED
3 years of previous experience doing mechanical repairs in a similar role
Ability to read, write, and speak English,
In-depth knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, diesel engines, Tier IV emissions
Capability to diagnose failures related to the above areas of the units
Mobile AC Certification preferred
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well- organized and can prioritize tasks.
Previous experience in construction or Ag related mechanical background
Pay Rate:$18.00 hourly
