As an HVAC Service Supervisor with us you will direct and lead HVAC Service Technician strategies for the branch including defining, implementing, and monitoring your team's performance.

Responsibilities
Supervises and delegates service employees, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective operations
Evaluates the workload and schedules service in a way that it maximizes profits
Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs
Drives to job sites to ensure that employees are performing as scheduled.
Instructs technicians on proper service, use of materials and quality workmanship and stays in touch with service technicians to assist with unexpected needs
Prepares and presents quotes for add-on/replacement of equipment, preventive services and/or remediation, on request
Ensures that employees have required tools for the job and that they are properly maintained
Checks to ensure that each job is complete. Ensures that appropriate job documentation and/or payments are returned to the office
Resolves customer issues and problems encountered by service technicians
Inspects vehicles and monitors preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation
Generates reports and measures of departmental operations as well as records on all inventory, tools and vehicles
Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly
Oversees facility and equipment maintenance and participates in regular inventories of parts
Prepares required reports on issues such as production, vehicles, material usage, etc.
Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides classroom and on-the-job training and support to employees
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area and observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
HVAC industry experience/knowledge required
Working knowledge of gas piping, electricity, plumbing and air flow are required
Must possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards
Valid driver's license
Strong leadership, communications, computer and mathematical skills
