Description: Our client is currently seeking a Segment Data Strategy
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Supports metadata, business definitions and lineage are mapped into the enterprise-wide tool.
Assists in the management segment-specific reference data.
Assists in supporting effective data management and governance practices and ensure adherence to the Data. Policy and standards; participates in change management practices.
Works closely with the Segment Data Manager and team, Data Trustees & Curators, and technology partners across the data lifecycle.
Dedication to the ongoing improvement of data quality within the business segment.
Participates in the fit for purpose analysis of data for regulatory and management reporting.
Assists in identifying Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and data profiling of CDEs.
Helps manage the inventory of data-related controls on systems that support segment processes and customers.
Knowledge of the legal, compliance, and regulatory issues impacting data.
Partners with the CDAO (Chief Data & Architecture Office) Data Literacy team to support literacy efforts within the segment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years related experience including 1+ years of hands-on data experience with data management, data quality, and/or data governance.
Experience participating in data-related projects or programs
Knowledgeable of data management and governance policies, standards, metrics, controls, and processes.
