Our client is a seeking a VP of Sales to join their team. They are defining a new accounting services model to help business owners navigate this new economy. You would be responsible for driving revenue growth through the management and expansion of the inside sales team. You will develop and execute strategic plans, optimize sales processes, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. The VP of Sales will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with the company objectives, while fostering a high performance sales culture, and leveraging data driven insights to enhance sales effectiveness in their fast paced call center. You will also oversee the development and training of their current salespeople, while promoting a positive and motivating culture.
Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies
Setting sales goals and targets, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds these goals
Capable of analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Leading, mentoring, and developing the inside sales management team to achieve high performance
Fostering company culture of continuous training, improvement, collaboration, and excellence
Designing and implementing sales processes and workflows
Partnering with Sales Managers and Sales Specialist's to accelerate sales productivity
Ensuring your team is engaged, collaborative, and aligned with the company's core values by cultivating a positive and motivated sales culture
Building a team culture of accountability and urgency by transparently leveraging metrics and reporting to drive the right behaviors
Refining sales tactics based on data analytics and feedback
Ensuring superior customer experience throughout the process
Work closely with marketing, technology, tax accounting and advisory teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives
Developing an understanding of their product messaging, technology platform, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
Communicate sales goals, strategies, and performance metrics to executive leadership
Representing the sales team in meetings and initiatives
Developing and maintaining sales performance metrics and dashboards
Reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to executive team
Managing and analyzing the performance of the department
Using data driven insights to make decisions and adjustments to sales strategies as needed
Work with Senior leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
10+ year is previous experience in inside sales/ telemarketing, with at least 5 years in a Vice President or Director level equivalent leadership role
Experience managing large inside sales teams
Expertise in leading outbound telemarketing organization
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in an inside sales, call center environment
Strong leadership skills and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Experience overseeing a transactional sales environment is preferred
Excellent analytical, problem solving abilities, and strategic thinking
Creative, hands on problem solving skills that can operate in an agile environment
Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to thrive in a fast paces, dynamic environment
The ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-Level
