Parts and Consumer Affairs Liaison at Volt

Job Description:

Volt has partnered with leading automotive manufacturer in Fountain Valley to help identify a Parts & Consumer Affairs Liaison.

As a Parts & Consumer Affairs Liaison you will:

  • Provides support for the Consumer Affairs agents and works with the Parts department to help allocate parts to potential buyback vehicles.
  • Assists the Consumer Affairs department with parts issues researching concerns as assigned and getting parts updates for open consumer affairs cases.
  • Assists management with parts issues to help consumer affairs agents
  • Will be liaison between consumer affairs agents and the national office parts department
  • Track back ordered parts concerns that lead to buybacks
  • Communicates with consumer affairs agents, HQ consumer affairs management, and HQ and Mobis staff as necessary regarding consumer affairs parts issues.
  • Research issues on parts supply related to consumer affairs cases, and follow up with appropriate business units as appropriate to resolve consumer affairs issues.
  • Participates in weekly meetings as necessary related to consumer affairs parts issues to help consumer affairs reduce parts-related buybacks
  • Monitor emails from consumer affairs agents and respond promptly
  • Documents department and program processes as necessary to create greater efficiency and ensure information is consistent, accurate, and up-to-date at all times.
  • Completes special projects as assigned by the Supervisor and assists with other departmental-related needs as requested by management.
  • Review consumer affairs cases that are parts related
This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days onsite and the rest from home.. Hours are full time, M-F from 8am - 5pm and position is temp for 12 months with potential to go temp to hire. It offers a foot in the door of a top company known to hire and promote our top talent.

Requirements

  • Great with organization, this person will get many emails per day and must stay on top of parts-related questions

  • Excel skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible

  • Works cooperatively with department associates to support consumer affairs

  • Parts or call center experience is a plus.

  • Must be able to work from the national office
Pay Rate: 25-30/hr
