Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading high-end sports and fitness non-profit organization. The organization is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support its Manhattan location.
Your new role
The job duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include, among others:
Oversight of maintenance activities at a sports complex in Manhattan
Facilities Maintenance - HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical systems
Oversee safety alarms and systems
Support for an Olympic-sized pool, in addition to the rest of the sports complex
Daily site walk-throughs, hands-on maintenance and repairs of the building and grounds
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
Strong experience with both Facilities maintenance and engineering
Q01/Q99 Refrigeration License
Shift required: Days TBD, Hours 11pm-6am
FDNY S-95, S-12, and S-13 certifications (or obtain within 90 days after hire)
CPO Certified Pool Operator License (or obtain within 90 days after hire)
Capability to operate in environments that utilize chemicals for pool and cooling tower maintenance
What you'll get in return
