The Opportunity
This is a working supervisor role that will work side by side with Mechanics and Technicians. In addition to regular maintenance-related tasks, you will be there to supervise their performance and activity, and train as needed.
3rd Shift Mon-Fri 10:30PM-7:00AM.
Key Job Responsibilities
Assign tasks to employees and monitor their activities; ensure maintenance area is neat and organized
Ensure maintenance personnel are following all operational and health and safety procedures
Supervise the preventive maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment
Coordinate all major projects, ex. shut downs
Manage the organization of maintenance shop and parts trailer
Oversee mobile equipment maintenance i.e., forklift, track and back hoes and assist Maintenance Manager to ensure parts and supplies are in inventory
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
Ability to read equipment prints; secure information from OEM manuals; apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and read, understand and apply common operational documents, SOP's, and training modules
Must have the ability to work occasional overtime
The ability to obtain a physician's certification to wear a respirator is required
The candidate must have own tools
Must possess a valid driver's license
