Job Description

As a team member, provide software development support and expertise to deliver a high-level of operational excellence in the day-to-day operations for the unclassified and classified Programs in Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) hosted environments. Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work which requires practical experience and training.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

* Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address mission needs.

* Supports analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.

* Conducts activities in support of project team's objectives.

* Applies expert subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, collection, assessment, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation.

* Resolves problems which require expert intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter.

* Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.

Education & Experience

* 0-3 years of relevant experience

Desired Experience:

* Familiarity with Subversion, and Jira

* Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

* SIPRNet

* Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

* Linux and Windows system knowledge

* Experience with technical documentation writing / knowledgebase article creation

* Strong motivation to analyze and improve systems and infrastructure

Certifications

* CompTIA Security Plus-CE certification, or higher.

Security Clearance

* Candidate must have a Secret Clearance.

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

* Primarily Work from Home, with potential to attend occasional meetings at Fort Meade, MD.
