Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
- Oversee payroll process for completion
- Complete all steps to process and resolve problems associated with the processing of biweekly and weekly payroll
- Prepare and review payroll processing reports
- Act as first line support for employee questions
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and activities
- Review payroll close process to ensure completion
- Request, record and track payments for deductions and taxes
- Assist team members with exceptions in submittal processing
- Prepare journal entries and payroll accruals
- Prepare tax reports
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree required, bachelor's degree preferred or at least 4 yrs. of relevant experience
- Highly customer focused
- Detail orientated
- Ability to processes transactions accurately and timely
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of taxation related to payroll
- Prior experience with a HR/Payroll systems such as Workday and ADP
- Excellent communication skills (written/oral)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
- Effective follow through
