Infosys is looking for a .Net/API Developer responsible for building .Net applications. Your primary responsibility will be to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining .Net based components and interfaces, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding .This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 Years of experience in Information Technology.
At least 2 years of experience .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, WPF, WCF, SQL Server, Entity Framework.JS
Build and modify high-performance APIs and programs
In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Familiar with various design, architectural patterns and software development process.
Experience with both external and embedded databases
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Preferred Qualifications:
Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net codes by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development.
Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with remote teams in effective manner
High flexibility to travel.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
