Looking to hire an experienced Project Manager for a National General Contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD. Core Responsibilities:
Negotiate, award, write and enforce contracts.
Review with superintendent project costs to ensure the project is kept within budget.
Build and maintain local market subcontractor relationships.
Work with superintendent on job site logistics and schedule.
Coordinate, negotiate, and manage change orders.
Coordinate all close-out activities on a timely basis.
Potential supervisory responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager.
Monthly travel to projects out of state.
The size of projects ranges anywhere from $100k - $45M.
To be successful in this role:
3+ years of independently running projects as a commercial Project Manager.
Ideal candidates will have either new build and interiors experience across hospitality, retail, restaurants, and especially in occupied spaces.
College degree is mandatory, ideally in a construction related field.
Strong estimating, budgeting, and purchasing abilities are a bonus.
Working knowledge in Procore
