Responsible for growing sales of Kroger Health products and services by identifying new business opportunities with relevant stakeholders and serving as the primary relationship owner for designated strategic partners. Develop regional and national payer engagement to increase market access to Kroger Health providers, products, and services. Ensure programs demonstrate expected value while exceeding client expectations. Collaborate with contracting, marketing, program development/management, and finance teams to accomplish this.   • 7+ years of experience in a leadership/management/supervisory role
  • 5+ years experience in strategy development, healthcare administration, benefits management
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and/or providing clinical programs
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Effectively able to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and influencing skills
  • Ability to manifest and maintain strong working relationships and effectively lead a team
  • Proficiency in the suite of Microsoft Office programs
  • Licensed pharmacist, physician, nurse practitioner, or dietitian
  • Complete an ASHP accredited residency or 3+ years' experience providing/managing health care programs/benefits

Desired:

  • Managed care, health system, and/or specialty pharmacy experience
  • Marketing/selling of healthcare products or services
  • Profit and loss responsibility
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills and ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team while creating a highly empowered organization
  • Proven ability to facilitate/translate strategic business requirements into strategic solutions

  • Master's Degree in Outcomes Research, Leadership, Nutrition, Business, Public Health, etc.
  • Board Certification in Ambulatory Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy Geriatric Care, Occupational Health or equivalent

  • Partner with the Health & Wellness (H&W) executive team to develop competitive growth strategies that will create revenue and profit
  • Create strategic alignment with clients and partners, finds opportunities to realize synergy, and defines measurable outcomes of success
  • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Set and exceed engagement, performance, and revenue targets for clients of Kroger Health Products
  • Work with Total Rewards team and Health & Wellness vendors to develop/maximize strategies in creating the healthiest workforce in America
  • Ensure products and services are efficiently and successfully implemented; collaborates on strategies to drive enrollment and utilization of services
  • Meet with key clients regularly and as needed to strengthen relationships, review current offerings, resolve issues, and explore future opportunities
  • Serves as subject matter expert in payer markets, pharmaceutical industry, employer health, and emerging health and wellness trends
  • Provide to Kroger senior leadership feedback, market insight, partnership opportunities, and new product ideas
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Travel independently up to 25%
