Description:
Hybrid - 3 days remote, 2 days in the office.
The 2 days in the office are static and will be every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The remote days will be Mon., Thurs., and Fri.
Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years
Responsibilities:
• The primary responsibility of this role is to audit purchase orders with vendors and determine if contractual pricing was correctly applied.
• Keep log/records of ongoing audit to determine level of accuracy, identify reoccurring mistakes or outliers, and to report on findings.
• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others.
• Gauging levels of financial risk or determine the cost failed audits played within organizations
• Checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
• Identifying if and where processes are not working and advising on changes to be made
• Ensuring contractual pricing is being applied to financial purchase orders via audit
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
• Experience performing a similar audit for a company in the past and/or ability to ramp up quickly and independently to get the audit off the ground and going.
• Self-motivated and proven track record of being able to complete many audit reviews, in a short period of time, with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized and track audit records and results very consistently and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Understanding of maintenance, construction, and/or telecom industry terms and purchased services is a plus.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Any accounting degrees, certifications, or education is desired but not required.
• Will consider financial work experience or background in place of a degree
