Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Business Credit Center Unit with general commercial loan portfolio and deposit-related functions. The ability to prioritize daily workflows for time-sensitive functions, multi-task, effectively communicate with Senior Management, and provide liaison support between the Line of Business and other departments throughout the bank, is required.
Responsibilities
Provide general support to the Business Credit Center Portfolio team through routine loan reviews to ensure all regulatory and compliance information is accurate.
Process rate and other simple modifications for commercial loans within the portfolio.
Perform various levels of loan collateral tracking & monitoring including Quarterly Marketable Security Reviews, Paid Collateral reviews, Flood/Hazard Insurance support, Delinquent RE Tax reviews and UCC Continuations.
Support the processing of loan advances and paydowns, business loan regulatory & compliance related reporting, and loan transfers to/from Restructure & Recovery.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the organization including Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Bank Operations.
Monitor and communicate daily overdraft decisions for deposit accounts assigned to the Business Banking unit and provide occasional exception processing for Banking Center customers.
Liaison with the Digital Banking groups for customer/exception issues concerning on-line banking.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects that support the strategic priorities of the Business Credit Center to optimize our processes and enhance our value proposition.
Experience Requirements
High School Diploma required - Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of Banking experience required - Commercial Loan experience preferred.
Must be service oriented and possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Must possess ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently.
Very strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn new programs or processes required.
Comfortable speaking with clients and external parties
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of required loan documentation for business / commercial loans
Experience with Small Business, Business Banking, SBA and CRE loan types preferred
Ability to build relationships and work with teams across various functions of the bank
Knowledge of applicable lending compliance laws and regulations
The estimated salary range for this position is $27.00USD to $31.00USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
