Regional Account Manager, NF1 PN, St. Louis and Denver




Introduction to Role:



Are you ready to take the lead and make a bigger impact? We are seeking a Regional Account Manager for our NF1 PN division. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering education on disease state, patient identification, NF1 PN management, and Rare Disease product information to health care professionals primarily in regional hospital and center of excellence settings within a defined geographic territory. This is an opportunity to position Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease as a leader in NF1 PN Treatment by developing long-term relationships with Key Customers and maintaining a high level of clinical expertise.



Accountabilities:



As a Regional Account Manager, you will be consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives in your assigned territory. You will build and maintain strategically targeted account-specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local market forces impacting product sales. You will also develop and maintain strong in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge. Your role will involve collaborating closely with collaborators including TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners. You will be expected to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.



Essential Skills/Experience:



- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3 years biotechnology/Pharmaceutical sales experience calling on Institutions and hospital systems
- At least 2 years of detailed, successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales in Oncology or Rare Disease
- Ability to work optimally independently and in an interdependent, team-oriented environment on a consistent basis
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record



Desirable Skills/Experience:



- Advanced or master's degree


- Therapeutic Area knowledge and experience
