Coordinate/perform Cycle counts on raw materials/Components, labels...etc. using ABC Analysis
Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
Receive and store labels, stage labels, return labels
Audit process orders
Clear COGI's
Work with auditors as needed during formal audits
Confirmation of Process orders as needed
Provide back up to front desk as needed
Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.
Review cycle count variances for root cause and implement corrective actions
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders Ensures accurate material transfer transactions to plant
Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person.
Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Conduct all business with integrity.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or GED certificate
1 or more year experience of industry-related work preferred but not required
Ability to accurately read and enter computer data
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to consistently lift 70 pounds
Additional Consideration Given to Those With:
Paint/Coatings/chemical industry knowledge or experience
Experience with a continuous process discipline such as Six Sigma/Lean/TQM manufacturing environment.
