Volt is immediately hiring for AP & AR Specialistin Denton, Texas.
As an AP & AR Specialist you will:
Responsible for paying and keeping record of all purchase invoices
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Setup weekly vendor payments via check, ACH, and wire
Accounts Receivable (apply customer receipts by Check/Ach/Wire)
On a weekly basis, reconcile aged accounts payable to the general ledgers, and clean up any past due invoices, credits on vendor accounts
Assist with month end close (prepare/enter adjusting journal entries & reconcile balance sheet accounts)
May also provide special project assistance to the Assistant Controller and/or CFO
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's in Business / Administration or equivalent degree. (Minimum)
3-5 years related accounting experience required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical business acumen.
Ability to deal successfully with complexities of a rapidly expanding organization.
Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills.
Proven accounting skills and interest in performing accounting duties.
High level of attention to detail, highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Ability to plan and manage projects within time constraints.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
Salary:$49,000 - $52,000 per year
