Volt is immediately hiring a Data Analyst for their Retail team in Fountain Valley, CA.
As a Retail Data Analyst you will:
Assist in the areas of district, regional and national retail analysis and planning
Provide management with data to be utilized in making well informed decisions
Ability to prepare and analyze big data sets including regional scorecards
Create user friendly reports and dashboards utilizing various systems
Streamline systems/data amalgamation process to support GMA's internal and external reporting needs
Prepare, analyze and present retail and field facing reports on a weekly/ monthly basis
Prepare presentation material for Executive Governance meetings
Complete special ad hoc projects to support Company strategic initiatives
Support month-end executive sales reporting and executive summaries as needed
Ensure accuracy of reporting across all departments including sales, service, distribution and marketing
This is a full-time opportunity, long term temp for 6 months, with strong possibility of being extended. It also offers the foot in the door of a top company known to hire on our talent. Hours are M-F from 8am- 5pm, position is hybrid working three days onsite and two days remote.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in data analytics / data analysis
Advanced MS Excel skills; pivot tables, v look ups and formulas
Experience with Tableau preferred
Completed Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field
CRM and/or SAP experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Pay Rate: $32-35/hr
