Location: Remote
The proposed salary range for this position is $118,000 - $158,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure services using Jenkins and Drone.
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and NIST 800-53 revision 4/5 standards.
Lead initiatives to improve cloud hygiene and implement cost-effective strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure AWS GovCloud infrastructure are reliable, scalable, and supportable, tackling new challenges as they arise.
Contribute to the improvement of processes and tools to enhance the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, including consulting on refactoring to improve infrastructure as code (IaC).
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Secret Clearance Required
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 8+Years of Experience(Degree is negotiable with 13+ years of relatable experience)
Minimum of 8 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related roles, with specific focus on AWS environments
