The Assistant Manager, School Based Enrollment Coordinators supervises the team of School Based Enrollment Coordinators supporting multiple districts within the state. It oversees activities and processes related to students records and student information systems management to ensure that documentation related to enrollment and re-enrollment are compliant with all state and district as well as internal requirements. This person will meet regularly with district and enrollment personnel to ensure needs are being heard and addressed from the various stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the team of School Based Enrollment Coordinators to ensure each is following the rules outlined by the district and/or state and performs all duties compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

  • Work with the Operations Managers for each school to understand each district's requirements and stipulations for enrollment at their school.

  • Develop relationships with all district partners and attend meetings with each district.

  • Oversee and manage student enrollment and re-enrollment activities and processes ensuring proper enrollment documents are collected and are compliant with state and district enrollment requirements.

  • Serve as central point-of-contact between national enrollment team and reporting districts to ensure student enrollment activities of the national enrollment team meet current state and district requirements.

  • Serve as point of contact for escalations on enrollment issues for students, prospective students, parents, administrative personnel, and reporting agencies.

  • Oversee and assist with internal auditing to identify and correct outstanding enrollment issues/items.

  • Manage Fitness Gram reporting through each district, health screenings, McKinney Vento process, DAEP, migrant and military, home language surveys, and laptop orders.




Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.



MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Three years (3) years of related progressive professional experience

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/train/mentor others

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate professionally with tact/civility

  • Customer service-orientation

  • Detail-oriented, able to identify errors in data and information

  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks quickly and accurately

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, procedures, and assigned tasks

  • Willingness to be a team player and help others when needed

  • Ability to effectively use Internet search engines, and enter and retrieve information from databases

  • Intermediate proficiency in Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google or similar applications

  • Willingness to obtain special licenses or certificates such as Notary

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post Secondary degree

  • Experience formally supervising others

  • Experience working in public school environment
