HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

This position is or will become well versed in 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges and work toward becoming a subject matter expert in the real estate-1031 world. Working with the Companys Senior and Managing Directors, the Director will learn, engage, observe, and contribute to all aspects of guidance to clients on 1031 exchange transactions. Primary responsibilities will be advising Channel, Referral Partners and Managed Service Clients around complex transactional questions as well as structuring and executing Parking exchange transactions. This is a client facing role that will require strong communication and engagement skills. The ideal candidate enjoys regular and proactive interaction with internal and external customers and can troubleshoot multi-faceted issues in real time.


  • Working closely with clients and their advisors on applicable IRC 1031 regulations to minimize potential for inadvertent errors and to move towards successful exchanges and/or reverse exchanges.

  • Continuing to expand business with existing Channels and Referral Partners by providing timely and accurate guidance on 1031 exchange questions and transactions.

  • Executing Parking and Forward exchange transactions with the support of the Exchange Operations team.

  • Collaborating with our Marketing, Business Development, and Exchange Operations Teams to drive expansion with our existing and prospective channel partners.

  • Identify and execute new market opportunities measured by agreed upon KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

  • Assisting the Business Leaders with ideas for Channel Partner process improvements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the companys CRM to support data analytics and identify market opportunities.

  • Opportunity for writing, speaking, and providing training on various exchange subjects, putting Accruits name out into the legal and 1031 communities as experts in the field

  • Other duties as assigned


IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Law or Business Degree

  • 7+ years of experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years real estate experience or 5 years of industry experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years Sales or Business Development

  • Certified Exchange Specialist (CES) designation

  • CPA, JD, MBA, or advanced degree
