HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Lead Cloud Engineer (LCE) will report to the Sr. Manager, Cloud Services in the Technology Department. This role is responsible for leading the design, administration, maintenance, and support of the enterprise infrastructure for a dynamic, growing business. The environment spans private and public clouds, networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, process schedulers, telecommunications, and general databases. The LCE will lead interdisciplinary teams comprised of development teams, client service teams and business leaders to design and implement enterprise solutions. As an LCE, you will build the Cloud infrastructure from the ground up. Working within a team environment, the LCE drives solution creation, providing hands-on support as well as operational support and training. This individual must be creative, client focused, solutions-driven, organized, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Modernize and improve the day-to-day operations of hardware and operating systems, including Cloud Services:
Leading teams of technical and business professionals through architectural design, development, and deployment of cost effective and sustainable Cloud infrastructure and
Evaluate system utilization, monitor response time, and provide primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
Coordinate and perform additions and changes to servers, network, operating systems and attached devices, including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation and testing of new network hardware and software.
Ensure servers, operating systems and network components are implemented and adhere to the information security policies and infrastructure standards.
Utilize metrics and cloud native consumption-based services to improve cost efficiencies.
Design and Implement Cloud native services with CI/CD pipelines using IAC tools.
Create Detailed Design and Solution architecture, that supports the business needs and ensure that it is secure, scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain and upgrade.
Document solution details (e.g., data models, configurations, and setup).
Design and Implement Istio Service Mesh and Helm Chart Deployments
Design and Implement firewalls and security appliances.
Design and Implement the Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Plan as it relates to the backup and restoration of the technology infrastructure.
Ensure run books are updated on a regular basis.
Maintain the VMware and Cloud virtual environments.
Maintain the Microsoft Active Directory Domain
Mentor fellow Cloud Admins and Engineers
Contribute to our DevOps roadmap, schedule, and key release milestones across all projects.
Work in an Agile framework to identify and automate solutions that result in enhanced developer experience and increased developer productivity.
Experience designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable Infrastructure on Azure
Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and support existing projects and processes; collaborate with various cross-functional teams to determine and define software requirements and propose software solutions.
Provide technical subject matter expertise and work with a wider team to ensure development activities are aligned with the scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
Maintaining and upgrading the deployment platforms as well as system infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or ARM templates or PowerShell or similar.
Troubleshooting AKS cluster-based issues, deployment through the ADO pipeline
CLI, PowerShell, ARM Experience working with teams to deliver complete azure solutions (security, operations, engineering, application team)
Develop, maintain, and document Cloud and Infrastructure best practices, guidelines, and guardrails for Cloud and on-premises technologies.
Provide infrastructure problem resolution for various applications throughout the organization.
Provide general database troubleshooting and support.
Experience configuring and supporting public and private DNS
Utilize programming skills to design and develop programs or scripts for various repetitive functions.
Performs all duties with a focus on goals of Inspira Financial, which includes risk mitigation.
Lead cultural change for cloud adoption.
Support inbound calls/emails, maintaining tickets within the issue tracking application related to Infrastructure Support
Cross-train other team members in order to facilitate coverage.

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
7-10 years of applicable experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Leading complex projects involving multiple teams and partners
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps while collaborating across teams to improve build, integration & release processes.
Assist in root cause analysis efforts and improvements to system reliability using techniques like self-healing, canary deployments, and alerting.
Build and deploy container workloads
Expertise in Kubernetes, AKS, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
Azure Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning platforms Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services
Implementing and configuring resilient, highly available IT systems
Deploying and securing Windows and/or Linux Operating systems in Private and Public Cloud environments.
Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps etc.
JSON, REST and data-based APIs and high scale performance services
Azure Service Bus and Azure Notifications Hub
Create clear & concise documentation of Private and Public Cloud infrastructure standards.
Designing and implementing resilient, highly available IT systems
Networking knowledge and the skill sets to configure, maintain, and support Cisco Meraki devices, Azure VNETS, VPN Gateways, Route Servers, Route Tables, and Private Endpoints.
Applying rule sets in Information Security best practices and ability to apply information security methodology to operating systems, network, and databases.
Scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, JS, Python, etc.
Experience with Cloud Services such as Azure (preferred), Google or AWS
Experience with BDR solutions such as Veeam, VMWare Site Recovery, and Azure Backup/Site Recovery
Design and Deploy Microsoft 365 Services (Exchange, Intune, Sharepoint, and Teams)
Ability to design and deploy Kubernetes deployments utilizing custom resources.
Experience with general database troubleshooting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, follow-up capability, and problem-solving ability
Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to use strong interpersonal and presentation skills to share ideas, solutions, and strong working relationships with business units including non-technical users, technical leads, and developers.
Experience working with a ticketing system and internal clients.
Ability to respond to emails and text messages after hours to resolve critical issues.
Must possess strong skills in personal diplomacy and client service while consistently demonstrating a high level of motivation, commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
Strong vendor management skills
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Experience in a high availability environment preferred.
Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices and framework preferred.
