The Sr. Team Performance Manager will serve as the Walmart Poultry financial, analytical, and process expert and ensure Team performance goals are met within established budgetary guidelines. The Team Performance Sr Manager position supports the Walmart Poultry sales team and the entire Walmart Team to build standard processes across the Walmart team to assist in turning insights into actionable results with the Walmart Sales team. This position will help streamline the customer-focused planning between Tyson and Walmart. This role will help to approve trade programs within our trade planning tools on CPG businesses (IE Apex). It will assist the VP of Poultry to develop long-term customer opportunities, whitespace, and strategies for growth with Tyson's largest customer. This position will report to the VP of Walmart Poultry.



Responsibilities include:



  • Develop Insights to action strategy: Reporting and processes around actionable insights that drive sales to influence Walmart merchants and replenishment team in partnership with the Walmart Poultry Sales team.

    • Standardized Reporting - Help with the development of a suit of standard reports across the entire Walmart team using Walmart's systems as well as Tyson internal data

    • Maintain and improve current Walmart team reporting to provide data at their fingertips at any time



  • Define process and tracking around customer-focused planning with Walmart as big bets are defined, implemented, and tracked.

  • Develop processes to identify new solutions, practices & strategies to support long-term business growth. AOP planning, QBR planning, and 30-60-90-day planning with Walmart

  • Developing long term Walmart Strat plans and customer playbooks

    • Development of Risks and Opportunities management | Promo tracking and effectiveness process

    • Collect and organize a process to understand Tyson's Share at Walmart data and competitive intel

    • Work with Walmart of VP of Poultry on execution plans and tracking Big Bets with Walmart

    • Drive the development of 3-year strat plans for Walmart. Drive the prioritization of growth drivers, white space, and untapped opportunities with Walmart



  • Ability to make complex simple leveraging Walmart data and Tyson internal data

  • Analyze key drivers of Customer Team financial performance volume net sales gross margin trade spending forecast accuracy deductions. Partner with sales leaders and SS&P on the development and refinement of TEAM goals.

  • Develop world-class forecasting for the future for the Walmart sales team and Tyson Supply Chain team




Qualifications:



  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of Customer Management, Sales, or IT experience in Retail or Food Service preferred. Experience with Customer Analytics is preferred. Self-starter proactive collaborative and process-oriented individuals

  • Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Special Skills: Curious Mindset, Strategic thinking, Understanding of motivational leadership skills, conflict resolution skills; relationship building based on trust.

  • Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products, experience with data warehouses (preferred: Google Cloud Platform - GCP), data visualization tools (ie Power BI)

  • Travel: 1-3 trips per year (less than 10%) | Location: Springdale Corporate office
