About the Team

You'll be joining a centralized Benefits team that sits in the Org Success and Total Rewards Team that is focused on the Americas region (US, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica) and that has made significant investments to support our employees and their families through integrated programs across our pillars of benefits: Physical, Financial, Mental, and Social-Flex. About the Role

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Americas Benefits. Your professional passion is creating best in class communications that make an impactful change on employees awareness, knowledge, and utilization of benefits programs. You are an out of the box, innovative thinker skilled in marketing and promotional materials, while also being able to write technically complicated information truly innovative and delivers an exceptional employee experience- let's talk.

About You

Basic Qualifications:


  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications and/or marketing


  • Executive level presentation skills


  • Expert level PowerPoint and other communication programming


  • Understanding of cultural differences globally, and in particular US, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica



  • Experience with:



    • communicating through multiple channels (slack, email, mailers, websites, etc.)


    • digital transformation (AI, Workday Journeys, chatbots, etc.)


    • modernizing communications (revamping websites as an example)




  • Have driven enablement for stakeholders through curated communications (people leaders, business leaders, employees, senior leaders)


  • Find creative ways to communicate all programs to drive engagement and awareness


  • Event planning (virtual and in-person)


  • Ability to take complex information and turn it into actionable and easy to understand employee communications


  • Develop and execute strategic internal communications plans and messaging for wellness and employee benefits initiatives in partnership with teams across Workday.


  • Provide counsel on communications best practices and change management strategies.


  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement consistent messaging across the organization.


  • Develop and build out the brand for Total Reward for both employees and candidates, so we deliver clear and consistent messaging across all plans.


  • Create and manage collateral, Intranet content and emails to support the holistic communications strategy for Total Rewards.


  • Establish a deep understanding of the employee audience groups channel and tools to effectively and impactfully get messaging across.


  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications through digital analytics, surveys, and other key performance indicators.


  • Review and manage existing content libraries ensure content is current, relevant and available on the most effective technology platform.


  • Other Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 7 years of people leadership experience


  • Proven track record of building high performing teams


  • Ability to interact effectively with all senior leadership levels


  • Strong ability to manage horizontally (across multiple functions and company stakeholders) and vertically (up and down)


  • Ability to roll up information in a concise and informative manner with clear actions


  • Highly accountable as a leader with the ability to hold team accountable, provide direction and delegation in a positive, professional manner, and ensure follow- through


  • Process improvement-oriented and ability to make recommendations and decisions confidently


  • Proven track record in position requiring judgment, interpersonal skills, ability to act independently with an understanding of larger picture and tie to company strategy, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while being able to inform and seek guidance to ensure alignment



Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $117,000 USD - $175,400 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,100 USD - $218,800 USD
