Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Analyst - Systems & Application Support for the Systems and Application Support Department.

This incumbent is an individual contributor role reporting to System and Applications Support (SAS) Manager. The Technical Analyst- Systems and Application Support SAS) role will routinely and objectively review, document, implement/build, manage, and maintain assigned applications, processes, workflows, and system interfaces within identified Member Operations Business Unit (MO BU) division’s. Additionally, the work of the SAS Technical Analyst includes report writing capabilities: 1) locating data to extract it, 2) manipulating it to decipher it’s meaning, 3) convey it to create understanding in others.

This role provides expert, specialized technical services to MO BU division stakeholders working as an intermediary between the business, enterprise IT and external IT system and application vendors. The assigned applications, processes, workflows, and system interfaces are associated with lending, deposit and operational stakeholders which are managed through Service Level Agreements. The role supports loan origination, loan and deposit servicing and operational systems and applications.

Highlights:

• Diagnose service needs, and respond and resolve technical issues


• Evaluate and analyze the current effectiveness of applications and workflows even if no obvious inefficiency is apparent or suspected


• Foresee developing issues based on observations and take action to eliminate or reduce negative impact/risk


• Identify and implement incremental (continuous) improvements and set quality standards for applications, processes, and services in response to changing needs


• Develop key vendor relationships and staying abreast of technological advancements


• Assist with third party application software releases / updates with careful coordination and direction from management and the third-party vendor

Experience:

    Required

• 5+ years of technical systems analyst experience required


• Experience working with IT and system & application 3rd party vendors

    Preferred

• Financial services industry experience


• Meridianlink System/User Administration experience


• Jack Henry related products such as Symitar, Synergy, Synapsys and PayCenter System/User Administration experience


• Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma/Lean experience

Education:

    Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field of study OR equivalent experience and knowledge

Skills & Knowledge:

    Required

• Extensive knowledge of data processing and enterprise software applications


• Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products including SQL and MS Visio


• Strong project management skills with effective results focused within an information systems environment


• Strong analytical, technical and conceptual skills with attention to detail


• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes


• Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge and expertise to other professionals, regulators and credit union staff


• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills


• Results oriented with a strong focus on the customer (both internal & external)


• Effective time management and prioritization skills


• Strong vendor management skills


• Strong service orientation to align needed support to the desired business outcome

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Salary Range:  $72,642 - $78,782

Flexibility:  On site, in office; not remote or hybrid

Level of Work: 2B
