The FP&A team manages Meta's entire budget of revenue and expenses, overseeing our investments in headcount, operating expenses, and capital investments. We focus on using our unique view into 'the numbers' to see trends and opportunities that are developing within Meta and within related industries. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for budgeting, tracking, reporting and analysis of investments in capital expenditures, operating expenses, and headcount for Meta's Network-Infrastructure organization. Create strong deep, sustainable, trusting partnerships across our Infra Finance, Business, and Cross-Functional teams with a focus across the full portfolio (Capex / Opex / Depreciation / Payroll) of several billion dollars
Partner with the other financial planning teams on close and other critical forecasting processes (Long Range Plan, Forecast, Budget, Ad Hoc Projects)
Develop tools to automate and streamline reporting, and create financial KPIs/metrics that help business partners and finance leaders make smart fiduciary decisions
Drive or support Ad Hoc analyses to frame Network Hardware & overall Infrastructure financial decisions as part of the company's critical focus on developing the Infrastructure to support investments in AI and GenAI.
In this newly created team you will be leading a variety of projects to drive process improvements designed to scale operations in line with our growing infrastructure portfolio
You will have opportunities to improve cross-functional collaboration, and identify pathways to reduce information silos
Create standardized dashboards / reporting
Lead cross-functional projects to deliver efficient investment strategies across our infrastructure stack
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
3+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or strategy consulting
Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning
Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
Experience with developing forecasts, tracking actuals and variance, and drafting easily understandable narratives around financial data
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets
Experience establishing relationships with business partners and other cross functional stakeholders
Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Financials, Tableau, SQL
Experience supporting research/hardware engineering teams and managing diverse product portfolios
Understanding of technical infrastructure concepts (e.g. servers, DCs, fiber networks)
Excels in navigating through ambiguity and unstructured problems
